SDG SUBMISSIONS

CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY

SDG initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean

Chelsea Film Festival 6th Edition – Submissions Open on March 15th, 2018.

• Films shown in previous festivals are also eligible, in any language, as long as there are English subtitles.
• Films must be from emerging filmmakers (First timer/Second timer)
• Films must engage in any Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-related topics. Please see more here (What are the SDGs)
• Work can be submitted online via Withoutabox & FilmFreeway
• Exhibition Format authorized: DCP or Blu-ray.
• Feature-length Films and Documentaries must be between 80 – 150 minutes maximum.
• Short Films must be between 3 – 20 minutes maximum.

The following are our deadlines and fees for this year (For SDG submissions use your special waiver code to avoid the entry fee):

Official Submission Deadline:
Friday, March 30, 2018
U.S. & INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILMS and DOCUMENTARIES – $70 entry fee
U.S. & INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS – $55 entry fee

Late Submission Deadline:
Thursday, May 31, 2018
U.S. & INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILMS and DOCUMENTARIES – $90 entry fee
U.S. & INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS – $75 entry fee

Extended Submission Deadline:
Friday, July 27, 2018
U.S. & INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILMS and DOCUMENTARIES – $100 entry fee
U.S. & INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILMS – $85 entry fee

CONDICIONES DE ELEGIBILIDAD

Iniciativa ODS en América Latina y el Caribe

Festival de Cine de Chelsea – 6ma edición

• Las películas que se hayan mostrado en festivales anteriores son elegibles, en cualquier idioma, siempre que tengan subtítulos en inglés.
• Las películas deben ser de cineastas emergentes (Primer Film / Segundo Film)
• Las películas deben participar en cualquier tema relacionado con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Por favor conoce más aquí (¿Qué son los ODS?)
• El trabajo se puede enviar a través de Withoutabox o FilmFreeway.
• Formato de exposición autorizado: DCP o Blu-ray.
• Las películas de larga duración y documentales deben tener un máximo de 80 a 150 minutos.
• Las películas cortas deben tener un máximo de 3 a 20 minutos.
